March 5th, 2014 - Clay Daly returned to the cockpit of his #32b Victory Circle/Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model on Wednesday night with the West Coast Late Model Shootout. The series made it's second ever visit to The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Daly came away with the win for his first series victory in nearly two years.

Clay started the night off by winning his preliminary heat race among 30 entries and went on to take the lead in the $3,000-to-win main event just before the midpoint when early leader Bobby Hogge IV spun out of turn four. Hogge had built more than a straightaway lead and appeared to be on his way to victory before his 360-degree spin at the top of front stretch on lap twelve. No caution flag appeared as Hogge fell back to fifth and Daly gained the top spot.

Daly faced challenges from Las Cruces, New Mexico driver Garrett Alberson in the closing laps but with the cushion of two lap cars was able to hold off Alberson for the victory. Alberson finished second followed by R.C. Whitwell, Pat Doar, and Tony Toste rounding out the top five.

March 1st, 2014 - It was a doubleheader weekend for Clay Daly as he traveled to Canyon Speedway Park (Peoria, Arizona) for the West Coast Late Model Shootout season opener.

On Friday night, twenty-one Super Late Models were registered for battle. Clay started his evening by finishing second in his heat race, locking him into the fifth starting spot for the main event. Unfortunately when it came time for the 25 lap feature, Daly broke a right rear shock just before the field took the green, ending his night early and resulting in a disappointing 21st place finish.

Persistent rains forced the cancellation of Saturday night's finale at Canyon Speedway Park.
